Why calcium matters
The chemistry behind a familiar workshop texture.
Traditional hydrated calcium greases use calcium soaps to structure oil. A controlled water content is part of that hydrated structure. Water inside the formulation and water arriving from outside are not the same engineering question.
This explains a useful apparent contradiction: a grease can resist washout in a wet environment and still have a limited high-temperature range. Heating a hydrated structure too far can change it in ways that cooling alone does not repair.
Our structural sketch deliberately avoids a recipe. Manufacturing involves controlled chemistry and processing; it is not a kitchen experiment. For a user, the valuable information is the declared product type, its operating range and the instructions for the machine.
